Library Hours
Monday-Thursday 8:00-4:00, Friday 8:00-3:50
Loan Period
Books are checked out for two weeks. Books can be renewed for another two weeks as long as there have been no requests for the book. Textbooks and student technology materials can be checked out for the year.
Overdue Materials
Books are considered overdue if not returned after the two week loan period. Reminder emails for overdue books are sent to students’ AISD email addresses.
Fines are only charged if a book is damaged or lost.
Chromebooks
We are a 1:1 campus; each student receives a Dell Chromebook to use each day. These are checked out to students through the library. If damage occurs or if the device has an issue, please come to the library for assistance.
Library Staff
The AHS librarian is Alicia Montgomery. She is starting her ninth year as a school librarian and eighteenth in education. You can read about her career in education here.
The AHS library aide is Jessica Mayer. She is on campus full time Monday – Friday.
